Its almost Christmas and I am so excited!!
I love winter time. The weather, the time with the family, the time with the friends, all of the events at Church, helping other children!
This year at school I was a part of two service projects for the Christmas season! Last week I got to help wrap gifts for little children. After we wrapped all of the gifts we went to the Special Education Classroom and had a Christmas party with some of the children in the elementary school. We bought each one of them a pair of pajamas, toothbrush, toothpaste, and a stuffed animal!! We got them together at a big table and read the Polar Express to them! Each one of the kids was just in awe while Kate was reading it. Then we ate a small snack with them and they had a blast because they got to fix their plates for themselves. After they ate they got to open their gifts!! It was so sweet... the kids kept saying O look at these and look at this!!! One ofth kids went crazy when he saw the tooth brush and toothpaste. It was so much fun and made me realize that the little things we take for granted each day they go without and when they get them they are such a huge deal to them. I am about to leave for Missouri But I will finish this when I return:) Merry Christmas and God Bless!
