When God Writes Your Love Story:)

So last year around this time our Sunday School class was doing a study from a book called Lies Young Women Believe.
Before I read this book and participated in the class i thought i knew honestly what being a Christian was and I thought i had everything right. Pshhh.. well.. lets just say i was totally wrong. and honestly still today i dont have it all down pat but im working on it and Striving each day to grow closer to God!!
Anyways the book talked about lies dealing with... Im not pretty enough.. God isnt enough... Lies about guys any lie you could think of that a young women would think of was in that book. But it encountered the lies with TRUTH!!!:)
So our Pastors wife taught the class with some help and She had already taught it in Ohio when they were Pastors there:) but anyways she told us lots of other books that we should read. and there was a website in the book Lies Young Women Believe and it was a blog. So many times in the past months i have went to it and read all kinds of stuff and one day i was on there and looking at their store and i found a bunch of the books she was talking about so i went to amazon and told my mom them and some more that i found that were from the same author and she got them for me for Christmas.

The first one I chose to read is called When God Writes Your Love Story:)
This book is by far the greatest book i have read it even tops Lies Young Women Believe. I honestly cant put it down.
It is written by a man and woman and it is their love story... but it has questions its kindof like a study.
The first part talks about how him and her both like many people today jump from relationship to relationship trying to find security and peace.. and then when the relationship ends they seem like they have lost it. While all the while God is our Security and Peace. and I can relate to this book in many ways.( besides the fact that i have not dated much in my life... because i do not wanna date someone just to have a boyfriend:))

Farther in the book it talks about How God is the Author Of Romance and Love. and The Creator of The Universe:) And it explains how God has a plan for each and everyone of us. and that we must give God the pen and let Him write our Love story for us if we want to experience True Romance and Love. and Then it goes on to explain how many of Us Christians submit to God and say okay I am turning it over to you God it is all Yours and then when that person doesnt come into our lifes when we think they should.. we start trying to make our own formula. and we have to fully Trust Him. and even though we say that we have Given it all to Him... we sometimes have those parts of our Lives that we put off limits to God!! and we need to take time To Pray and ask the Holy Spirit to show us those areas of our life.. and the things that stand in the way like our atttitudes... etc.

Last night the chapter I read was talking about how Eric(the man) had turned His Love life over to God. and when his guy friends would all get together and talk about girls when they asked him was there a special someone in his life?? He kinda mumbled under his breath umm.. im leaving it up to God. and then he finally became Bold and asked God for the Strength to turn it all over to Him because God did not ask us to turn everything to Him on our own.. No!! He gave us his stength.. Because HIS STRENGTH IS MADE PERFECT IN OUR WEAKNESS!! (part of yesterdays sermon haha).

But something that really hit me last night when I was reading. Was the fact that he said to stop and think that the person you are going to marry is right now walkign on this earth and at the very moment is doing something... and he said to stop and think about that unless of course they are not born yet. But that was kinda crazy thinking about it.. I was like WOW!! and then he goes on to say talk about Purity and how Christians today have turned the Word of God around and made it to fit todays world.. and that is just getting out of the Word and not listening to God.. and then He goes on to say that some of the Christian world today is saying even though sex needs to be for married people.. only that it may be hard for some people in this world today to wait and that that is okay(WHAT???). Then he quotes the scriptures where God speaks about Purity:)

Then he goes back to talking about the fact that the person we are gonna marry is walkign the earth today.. and he explains how it was a friday night and he began to wonder what his future wife was doing... and he pictured her with another guy and his arm was around her and he leaned into kiss her... and then Eric explained how he got furious... and then that was when God spoke to him and said, "Eric if you desire for your wife to be pure.. dont you think she desires the same thing in you??"

Thats pretty deep:) and i really like it. because i have learned so far from this book. that the very guy i will someday marry could be walking this at the moment. and what if he could hear my every thought, see my every action, and hear my every word.. Would he be honored and adored??? or would he be sad and upset. So like eric says we should Keep our Hearts, mind , and body pure not only for our future spouse sake but also to glorify God;)

Also the book talks about Do we obey God because it seems like a chore like we have to do it to stay under His Grace??? or do we do it out of Love for our King??? Hmmm...

Before you start to fall in love with someone. You must fall into Head Over Heels LOVE for God:)
And that involves Romancing with the King of Kings everyday(as in reading the Word and not only for a few seconds here and there, and talking and listening to God.)
Once you fall In Love with God.. then everything you do will be out of joy and privelege and Love for Him:)
After all we arent on this earth to glorify ourselves.. But in EVERYTHING we do bring Glory to our King and Father.
If you do that you will truly know the true meaning of love and romance.

THIS BOOK IS BEYOND AMAZING!!!
