Senior Night:)

:) It has been a while since I last posted on here it was sometime in January!! Last night was senior night for softball and our very last home game of this season. It was not very sad until the last inning when we were on the field and we were up by six points and I realized this could be my last time to ever play on this field:(

The senior walk out was kind of sad. With all of the crazy weather we have been having our games have been flip flopped around so many times... we were suppost to play today (wednesday) but with the weather and some other factors they switched. When I told my dad the game started at 3:30 and we were doing the walk out before the game he said... I might not make it:( but he was going to try. So I told the parent who was over it and she moved it unitl after the game. Itext him and told him it was going to be after the game and everthing. He was not suppost to be out of town but they had a spur of the moment meeting come up in Montgomery. Everything was planned and he was goign to be back in time. He called me at two while I was at Burger King with some of the players and told me he was very sorry and there was no way he could make it back:( they got there and the people said they couldnt meet until two. He was really upset I could tell and kept apologizing:( He almost had me crying haha He has put so much effort and support into me playing softball over the years and he will never know just how much that means to me.:) I love you daddy!

Here are some pictures from the game and the walk out. The order is crazy because I always forget how to post them.

Moving Forward by Hezekiah Walker. what it means to me:)

Not going back I’m moving ahead I’m here to declare to you my past is over in You All things are made new surrendered my life to Christ I’m moving, moving forward What a moment You have brought me to Such a freedom I have found in You You’re the Healer who makes all things new Yeah, yeah, yeah Not going back I’m moving ahead I’m here to declare to you my past is over in You All things are made new surrendered my life to Christ I’m moving, moving forward You have risen with all power in Your hands You have given me a second chance Hallelujah, hallelujah Yeah, yeah, yeah Yeah, yeah, yeah Not going back moving ahead I’m here to declare to you my past is over I’m in You Things are made new surrendered my life to Christ I’m moving… Not going back moving ahead I’m here to declare to you my past is over in You All things are made new surrendered my life to Christ I’m moving, moving forward Forward (5x) You make all things new Yes You make all things new And I will follow You forward

-I love this song. And Hezekiah Walker's Cd was one of the Christmas gifts that I got from my sweet boyfriend Tanner:) This song really hit home and has played in my car and in my house repeated times in the past few weeks~

Every body goes through different struggles and problems in their lives and everyone feels like they are all alone. But the truth really is that no matter what the circumstances are or what people tell you YOU ARE NOT ALONE!! God is always there with you and He will never leave your side. The past three years of my life have been very adventorous! Each day I learned to trust Jesus more and more and to never give up on something that you are striving for! God has a plan and a purpose for your life. He never makes mistakes! God never says Oops!! Even though sometimes I felt like things would never work out in the end I always realized I just needed to trust Jesus! Sometimes it felt like the hardest thing in the world to do. And I look back now and realize how crazy I was to not Trust Him whole heartedly from the beginning and to never give up and rely or put my trust in anything else. Wordly things don't matter. I have learned that also throughout the past few years. You can have anything that you want in this world and still not have the feeling that you have when you have Jesus! I spent so many nights lying in bed or in the floor on my knees Praying and crying to Jesus! I knew that He and only He had the answer to my every question and the solution to my every problem! I knew going into everything that I was in that it was not going to be easy but in the end it was all well worth it!

The reason that this song means so much to me is because after the past few weeks and 2 and a half months I have realized just how truly great what I waited and hoped for really is:) I realize jsut how much I should have trusted God from the beginning and when tough times came I should have turned it over to God and said God I trust You with this.... Because You are God and You have it all under control:) I am MOVING FORWARD:) and I want to trust God always in everything I do. I do not want to rely on anything else and I want Him to know that I fully trust Him! God has truly Blessed me beyond! I have an amazing family who loves me and would do anything for me, a sweet gift from God boyfriend (Tanner) who teaches me more and more everyday, an awsome Church family, amazing friends, and so much more.

Just like the lyrics to this song says You make all things New!! Jesus does make all things new and He will forgive us where we have failed Him and like the Bible says He will remember them no more! I thank Jesus for that everyday. I made so many new years resolutions this year. and one of them was to Trust God more and to put all my Faith in Him:)

I can not wait to see what God has in store for my life this year.

New Year's and an adventure in the woods:)

New Year's eve was laid back this year. Early that evening Tanner took me out on our first date:) We stayed in cullman due to the crazy drunk drivers on new years eve. We both dressed up and had an amazing time.

That night it stormed and we stayed at my grandmas until the ball dropped and then everyone went home:) New Year's day I went to breakfast with Tanner at Cracker Barrell and witnessed an old man having a heart attack:( it was so sad and pidiful.
After breakfast we went to his aunts house and spent the day with them for a little bit then came back home that night and tanner and I watched a movie with my mom and dad:)

Sunday we all went to Church and my mom and dad took us all out to eat.
When we got home we all (allison, tyler, tanner and I ) decided to go in the woods and walk:) we had a blast we stayed in the woods for about 2 to 3 hours. The guys found two caves and decided to look in them until tanner freaked out when he smelt the dead skunk.
Monday was just a lazy day until tanner had to leave for work.

This past weekend was very busy. Saturday morning my sweet boyfriend took me to eat breakfast at ryan's:) and then at 2 I had the DAR Good Citizenship program. After the program we all came back to my house and then went to granny's. That night dad and mom decided they wanted to take us to eat so they took us all to Red Lobster and we went to academy. I have the best mom and daddy ever:)

Sunday was cut short due to the weather but the snow was so worth it all:) I'll have pictures of the snow to come:)

A White Christmas:)

I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas!!!
This year was a wonderful Christmas:)

The Thursday before Christmas we had Christmas at Tanner's Aunts house and we had a great time.I enjoyed opening my gifts from them and giving Tanner a few of his gifts early. I got him a puppy:),three under armour shirts, a columbia jacket, an american eagle shirt, a nike pullover, some soft pj pants that say espn:), a stocking full of candy and some other little things.

Christmas eve we had Christmas at my grandma's house and everyone opened their gifts. I got the sperry shoes I wanted, a columbia jacket,Hezekiah Walker cd, Fred Hammond Cd, sperry scarf, and a victoria secret pullover from my sweet boyfriend:) and i got money from my aunt and uncle and my grandma and jimmy:) We had tons of food and just layed around. That night tanner and I went to Decatur to his mom's family Christmas and then came back and helped his parents wrap gifts. That night my whole family watched a Christmas movie together and ate taco soup:)

Christmas morning I woke up to my sister telling me it had snowed.:) and sure enough it had snowed alot. It was my first white Christmas and it was beyond beautiful!
My family opened gifts together early that morning like we do every year!!
I was grateful for every gift i got:)a sewing machine, alabama jacket, juicy couture purse, juicy couture wallet, gap outfit, money, floor mats for my car, and some other things:)
I was so excited to open Ziggy's gifts for him haha. Everyone laughed when I told them i wrapped my dogs gifts. I got him a snuggie and a blanket for the house.
After opening gifts dad cooked breakfast and we all ate together. Unfortunately my mom was very sick on Christmas morning and throughout the rest of the day she had a migraine headache and wasnt able to play in the snow with us:( After breakfast I went to Tanner's house and played in the snow with him and opened my present from his parents. They got me a nike jacket:) We had our Christmas dinner at my grandmas house later that day and spent some time with our family! Over all Christmas 2010 was wonderful and God has blessed me with amazing friends, family, and an amazingly sweet boyfriend to share Christmas with this year.
Me and tanner before playing in the snow before we had our fire.
Christmas day in the snow at his house:)

Merry Christmas !

Its almost Christmas and I am so excited!!
I love winter time. The weather, the time with the family, the time with the friends, all of the events at Church, helping other children!

This year at school I was a part of two service projects for the Christmas season! Last week I got to help wrap gifts for little children. After we wrapped all of the gifts we went to the Special Education Classroom and had a Christmas party with some of the children in the elementary school. We bought each one of them a pair of pajamas, toothbrush, toothpaste, and a stuffed animal!! We got them together at a big table and read the Polar Express to them! Each one of the kids was just in awe while Kate was reading it. Then we ate a small snack with them and they had a blast because they got to fix their plates for themselves. After they ate they got to open their gifts!! It was so sweet... the kids kept saying O look at these and look at this!!! One ofth kids went crazy when he saw the tooth brush and toothpaste. It was so much fun and made me realize that the little things we take for granted each day they go without and when they get them they are such a huge deal to them. I am about to leave for Missouri But I will finish this when I return:) Merry Christmas and God Bless!

Thanksgiving!!

Thanksgiving and Christmas are by far my two favorite holidays of the year.

At the moment I am in Ohio!!
We travel up here every Thanksgiving to be with family. We got here Wednesday night really late, because it rained pretty much the whole way especially the last few hours.
Thursday morning we all got up and went to my great grandmas. There was so much food!!!! my favorite part!!!
My great grandma made all her chocolate pies, pecan pies, cherry pies, and pumpkin pies. There were tons of other desserts, cookies, and pumpkin rolls.
We had ham, turkey, dressing, rolls, corn, green beans, sweet potato casserole, hashbrown casserole, 7 layer salad, mac & cheese, brocolli dip, and so much more!!
The family started coming in and there was about 40 in all! And a ton of people couldnt make it this year. 12 of the people from my moms side did not even make it. When everyone shows up we usually have about 100.
It was a blast getting to see some of our family that we only see once a year! and since we did not make it up there last year! It was crazy how much some of the babies had grown.

I am getting tired, since we are an hour ahead up here and I have to be up early for the trip home tomorrow.

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! I will post the shopping stories and some pictures on here very soon!

I am Blessed Beyond! and I am very Thankful for God's Grace and Mercy that get me through each and every day!

A little bit of everything that is going on in my life!

So it has been over a month since I have posted on here.
I have been so busy with school, cheerleading, church, and everything else:)
I am beyond Blessed and thank God every day for everything that He is doing in my life.

In October I was chosen as one of the Senior Representatives for Homecoming Court:)
It was a blast and shockingly I won homecoming Queen!! I was so excited!! I have pictures of me and my handsome daddy walking me out to come soon.!!

Sadly football season is over! I never knew just how bad I would miss Friday night football games. From the time i was little enough to go I have either went and watched or since the ninth grade I have cheered every game:) It has been a blast and I will definitly miss it. Senior recognition has also come and pass it was very sad and extremely cold!!

I have already begun to apply for colleges. I have applied to UNA, UAH, Belhaven, and Troy. Thank Jesus I have already been accepted to them all. Now its just a matter of scholarships and the decision.

So many things have been happening in the past few weeks in my life. I have been extremely stressed about a few things. But I just always remind myself that God is always right there and He will never leave me nor forsake me.

Guess what??? I have learned a lot this year in my fashion and design class. I have made two pillows and a purse.

Out of that class I am crocheting a baby blanket!! It is almost done and I will have pictures of it all up soon.

Basketball season started last Monday and we still have a ton more games to go. Also Softball workouts started a few weeks ago and they are kicking my tale, but it will definitly be worth it:) Senior year is flying by and I dont really know what to think. In some ways I am ready to get out of High School and all the mess that comes with it. But then in another way I am not to ready for the real world. But it will be here sooner than I know it:)

Thanksgiving Holiday is next week!! It is probably one of my favorite holidays of the year. I am leaving Wednesday for Ohio and I am extremely excited. We always have a blast with our famiy members from all over the world. For real all over the world (missouri, alabama, ohio, minnesota, and tons more) I cant wait!! All the food is beyond delicious and ecspecially my grandmas homemade pies. The day after Thanksgiving or should I say the night after Thanksgiving is always a blast. My mom, grandma, aunt, cousins wife, and I all go shopping. We usually get up around two in the morning (last year they got up at midnight) and we go shopping until around 6 or 7 the next night:) It is so much fun. It is definitely a lot different than down here. Last year we didnt make it to Ohio and I went down here with my mom and some family from down here. But in Ohio it is always snowing:) and everyone is bundled up, you have to walk for miles to get from your parking spot, there are huge malls, and people are everywhere!!! This is by far my favorite time of the year:)

And as far as Christmas goes.... It will be here soon!!! I already have my Christmas tree up in my room. I already listen to Christmas music, and our Church has been practing for the play for months:) I am excited.

The bama game comes on tonight and my mom and dad have grilled pork chops, salad, potatoes, and I'm not sure what else:) so Im going to get off of here and go eat!! I hope all is well with everyone. God Bless.
